Project Description

British Beach Capers

Summer 2009

A cameraman camouflages himself as a Palm Tree to observe the general public as they enjoy a somewhat cold summers day by the sea! This film presents comedy using the style of a British nature documentary; David Attenborough meets ‘Carry on’!

This short animation was made as part of a young people’s summer film project with a cast aged 9 years to 22.  A professional filmmaker ran the project though the work was developed using the process of devising together as a group.  The film was then filmed on location at a beach on the North East coast of England.
