Summer 2008

An animated tale about Pigeon Pete’s stirling effort to become the world’s number one round the world racer. Watch Pigeon News and their intrepid journalists in New York, Japan, Mongolia and Paris as they track Pigeon Pete’s journey, reporting back to Pigeon Fred; studio based in the N.E. of England.

A project facilitated by professional filmmakers with the creation and production of the animation coming from the young people who participated in the project; a day deciding the theme, a day producing the sets and characters, two days animating, a day devising and writing a script and two days adding voice-overs.

Funded by Wear Valley District Council’s Neighbourhood Renewal, Neighbourhood Elements Fund as part of the Woodhouse Arts Programme.
