Postcards from Woodhouse

May – July 2003

A young persons multi-elemented project, combining creative writing and photography, video and voice work that culminated in a weeklong arts installation and a published booklet of postcards. The young people took photographs, as they strolled the streets of their estate. They subsequently added words to these photos, words that are textured and full of richness. At the time of making, this project was somewhat of a revelation, giving a incredible insight into their thoughts and feelings about their environment.
